Not at full size. Fonts used: Monsterchild and Hybrid (dafont.com), Kartika and Century Gothic. I tried to keep bigger font sizes, because It works better if the pre-image is made into a smaller image.
I thought this turned out alright in the end, partly due to the extensive levels of shading I put into it. (which are also the most time-consuming part.)
My Thoughts:...
I sortta liked the idea of a little girl (Actually a Crepusculum) Just making Gabe follow her farther into the town. And He basically finally spooked it when he started talking to her up close.
And the area is not yet infested with Infusco quite yet... But I think it may be getting darker...
As for the Abandoned truck scene... Of course Gabe's gonna pick up a shirt if he likes it. XD Not as if the owner of the truck needs in anymore. And that flashlight... I sort of have plans for that thing, because Gabe actually doesn't really need it, he can see in anything short of pitch-black...
I giggle at my own little inside joke on the third page about Toys. XD It seemed only appropriate that Phalse, the greedy little thing he is, would think of Gabe as a shiny toy. (And Gabe's opinion of Phalse is not reflective of my own. I wanna huggle that doll.) And the Devourer is the only one to notice Gabe so far...
As for seeing the craft, Gabe thinks he's seen one before, but it doesn't mean he knows anything about it. At most, he's seen a prototype or a craft similar to it, I figure it's actually from a time a century ahead of him...
Hopefully, my comic looks better than what I think, me being so tired of working on a page for 4-6 hours...

COOL! Must see more! This serious awesomeness in a peanut jar, with all the goodness included. I love the way you brought in the crepesculum, with the projected memory. Very effective.
Gabe is a great character. His little finds there kinda make me think of a dignified dumpster diver, in all niceness.
Good luck in the next round! It's wierd, everybody's being paired up... Ooh... an omen, maybe?

Gabe's fun. I can have him do things that are a little less undignified (Like being a dignified dumpster diver. lulz, that made my day.) than some of my other characters, and it makes for a bit of funniness.
I'm anxious to see the outcome of the round! I'm nervous... o.o
Got some unscannable artwork? Own a camera but no scanner? Here's a guide of things to consider in order to effectively take quality photographs of your work. [A tutorial by `fox-orian]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
